Collection: Telescope Solar Filters

Seymour Solars telescope filters are the best on the market.  They are ND5 filters that filter out 99.999% of the sun's rays.  The telescope filter is easy to install.  It slides nicely onto the end of your optical tube and is secured with nylon thumb screws.  We have many size filters to choose from that will fit most telescope sizes.  Seymour Solar filters come in Helios Solar Glass® or Hyperion Polymer Film.

**Only install the solar filter on the end of the optical tube closest to the sun.  The filter should always be first in line with the sun.  No sunlight should hit your optical device before it goes through the filter.**
